Unbound Love

You’ve seen the extent of my passion
How little you, after all, understand.
You look at life through blinkers,
Everyone does, but how little you understand.

You’ve seen the extent of my passion
You’ve watched as I moved the earth
You’ve heard my love declared a dozen times,
and you’ve never known it’s worth.

Autumn by B&Q

15 August, 2010 at 12:31 (Uncategorized)

Autumn comes as it always does,
And since the Spring I’ve been in love,
Autumn comes and the leaves start to fall,
trapped in tar, but aren’t we all?
The Spring raced between hot and cold,
too far apart, too soon, too old,
The Summer it was hot and long,
still you owe me one last song,
and now the Autumn comes, the skies are clear,
We weathered this far, this strong
Can we do snow as well?
Or will Winter prove too long?

Dovie’andi se tovya sagain

Load the dice, and load the dice and load the dice again,
I’ll pay later but for now it’s just a game.
Load the dice and load the dice and load the dice again,
I’ll watch them roll and score my goals,
for now it’s just a game.

Flip the field and fill it up and roll my dice again,
Tear it up and rip the turf and rut until it ends.
Scare the crows and now it’s gone the payment soon begins,
I’ll watch the game and my score’s below,
what it might have been.

Habla Sofa?

2 August, 2010 at 21:19 (Uncategorized)

Alice curled up with Christopher,
after a very long year.
Alice whispered something to Christopher,
so that only he could hear.

Christopher held Alice
until she didn’t ache.
Then they talked and laughed some more
for the sofa’s sake.
